Cooking Instructions:
1. Begin by rinsing the rice and carefully removing any stones or debris. Continue rinsing until the water runs clear.
2. Soak the rice in cold water for 30 minutes.
3. Drain the soaked rice and add water, using a ratio of 1 cup rice to 2 cups water.
4. Bring the rice and water mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pot.
5. Allow the rice to simmer until tender, which typically takes around 10 minutes.
6. Remove the pot from heat and let it stand, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.
7. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
